Dapto Market has a lovely country atmosphere with plenty of shade areas which makes it a pleasant day out for either buyers or sellers, and there is also plenty of parking for the huge customer attendances every Sunday. Tour Buses also visit on a regular basis.

Just over an hour's drive from Sydney or just 15 minutes drive South of Wollongong, Dapto is located on the western shore of Lake Illawarra, famous for it's variety of water sports, including sailing, canoeing, water skiing and fishing. The Kembla Grange Racecourse is nearby. The surf beaches are also within easy driving distance.
